Providing Transformative Education for Guelph and the Wellington-Waterloo Region

A School Rooted in Community, Growing for the Future

The Trillium Waldorf School has been a place where education nurtures the whole child, mind, body, and spirit, for over 30 years. Here, creativity thrives, curiosity is celebrated, and children grow into confident, compassionate individuals.

Investing in local Waldorf schools isn’t just about education—it's about  shaping a more thoughtful, creative, and connected society. You are not just helping to finance our school—you are empowering future generations.

More About our School

An Anthroposophical Financial Partner

The Trillium Waldorf School is refinancing our mortgage, working with an Anthroposophical lender, the Vidar Foundation.  our goal is a $2.5 million, 25-year mortgage that will:

  • Replace our current mortgage ($2 million)
  • Eliminate our operating deficit
  • Provide critical financial stability for the future.

Vidar can provide an opportunity for members of our community and others to  participate in this effort through values-aligned investments. These would be fully secured and offer an avenue for community members to help  support Trillium's long-term success.

The Vidar Foundation is a Canadian charitable organization that provides  low-interest, values-based financing to anthroposophical  initiatives—such as Waldorf schools, biodynamic farms, and cultural  centers—across Canada.  Founded on principles of ethical investing and  long-term sustainability, Vidar channels private capital into projects  with deep social value and strong community roots. Through a model of  secured loans and tuition support programs, Vidar enables independent  institutions to grow without relying on traditional banking or  government funding.
